WRM00017

A vintage classic from the golden age of mouthpiece design, this Brilhart Tonalin tenor mouthpiece features a #4 tip opening and was crafted under the direction of Arnold Brilhart himself. Made from Brilhart’s signature ivory-toned plastic, the Tonalin is prized for its warm, resonant tone, excellent projection, and smooth, even response across the range of the horn. Its large chamber and balanced facing offer a sound that’s both lush and flexible—ideal for jazz ballads or section work.

This example is in very good vintage condition (4/5), showing light cosmetic wear consistent with age but no cracks, major discoloration, or refacing. Fully functional and ready to play, it remains an outstanding representation of Brilhart’s craftsmanship and tonal philosophy.
