Offered here is a beautifully preserved 1930s Buescher “The Buescher” Baritone Saxophone, a true relic of American saxophone craftsmanship from the golden age of big band and early jazz. This horn features a Low Bb bell, consistent with baritones from this era, delivering a rich, warm tone that modern horns rarely match.

In great playing condition, this Buescher has been well maintained with smooth key action, solid response, and excellent intonation throughout its range. The body shows expected cosmetic wear to the lacquer, but there are no significant dents or dings, which is exceptional for an instrument of this age and size.

“The Buescher” model is prized for its lush tonal character—dark, round, and full-bodied, with just the right amount of vintage edge. Whether you’re playing in a jazz ensemble, recording with a classic tone, or adding a historically significant horn to your collection, this baritone delivers both sound and soul.

Features:

  • Low Bb bell, pre-Low A design
  • Original neck and body with strong structural integrity
  • Rich, resonant tone with vintage warmth and projection
  • Smooth keywork and responsive pad seal
  • Classic 1930s lacquer wear with no major damage

This is more than just a saxophone—it’s a piece of history, ready to be played or proudly displayed.

This instrument comes shipped in an older-model, gently used ProTec International case, black exterior with black interior (missing shoulder strap).
