C.G. Conn – 10M “Naked Lady” Tenor Saxophone
Sold; Have one to sell?
Out of stock
This is a superb example of a Conn 10M Tenor Saxophone, one of the most revered American tenor models ever made, offered here in very fine condition with its original brass lacquer finish and clean bell engraving (this version does not feature the “naked lady” motif).
Built in the post-1947 era, this 10M carries the full-bodied, punchy sound that made Conn a top choice for big band saxophonists, R&B players, and studio legends alike. It features the iconic rolled tone holes, split bell keys, and a broad bore design that gives it its famous lush and powerful tone.
The horn is in excellent playing condition, with a well-preserved finish showing only light cosmetic wear consistent with age—no major dents or damage. Keywork is smooth and quick, and the horn speaks clearly and evenly from top to bottom with that classic Conn warmth and edge.
Features:
- Original brass lacquer with clean, crisp engraving
- Post-war Conn 10M model (no naked lady engraving)
- Strong projection and a rich, resonant core
- Very fine cosmetic and mechanical condition
- Smooth, responsive key action and reliable pad seal
Whether you’re looking for a pro-level vintage tenor for the stage or a classic horn with serious tonal depth, this Conn 10M delivers. A beautiful and powerful player with the unmistakable Conn voice.
Comes in a gently used soft gig bag (black).
