WRM00010

A vintage C.G. Conn Standard hard-rubber mouthpiece for baritone saxophone. Designed to complement vintage American baritones, this traditional long-body mouthpiece features a generously proportioned chamber intended to produce a broad, warm tone with a strong fundamental.

Its comparatively closed, traditional facing should pair well with firmer reeds and players seeking an easy-to-control setup for concert-band, classical, or traditional ensemble playing. It may be particularly well suited to vintage Conn baritones, including the 12M, although compatibility and intonation will vary by instrument.

The mouthpiece is in good vintage condition with surface scratches, beak wear, and other cosmetic evidence of previous use. No obvious cracks or major chips are visible in the photographs. The tip opening has not been measured, and the facing has not been evaluated for originality.

Mouthpiece only; no ligature or cap included.
