The Drake Phil Woods Master Series alto saxophone mouthpiece is a handcrafted recreation of the New York Meyer 5M played by jazz legend Phil Woods for more than four decades. The No. 5 tip opening is approximately .075″, paired with a medium chamber and rollover-style baffle for a warm, centered sound with clear articulation, balanced resistance, and ample projection.

Although sometimes described as plastic, this mouthpiece is made from Drake’s proprietary Vintage Resin, a ceramic-infused composite developed to emulate the acoustic qualities of vintage hard rubber while providing excellent durability and consistency. Each mouthpiece is individually handcrafted and serial numbered; this example is marked 0124003.

Pre-owned and in good overall condition, showing normal cosmetic scratches and ligature marks from use. The tip and rails appear intact, with no obvious cracks or major chips visible. Includes the pictured Wind & Reed storage pouch; ligature and cap are not included.
